Alicia & Jason presented awards during the 42nd Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing
Alicia Pouw (MSc student) won 2nd place for best poster presentation at the 42nd annual Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing that was held remotely from June 22nd – June 25th , where she presented her research on utilizing Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems and Real-Time Kinematic GPS to estimate the spatial distribution and depth of snow over lake ice. While Jason Skidmore (Undergraduate thesis student) secured 2nd place for the CSRS2021 scavenger hunt, where he was required to search for clues and answer riddles throughout the symposium.
