Andy Successfully Defends MSc Thesis and Receives Thesis Award Nomination

Congratulations to Andy Sekoh on successfully defending his MSc thesis, “Episodic Discharge Forcing Dominates Turbidity Variability in the Great Slave Lake: Evidence from 40 years of Satellite Observations.”

Andy’s research used four decades of satellite observations to investigate the factors driving turbidity variability in Great Slave Lake, providing new insights into the dominant role of episodic river discharge and advancing long-term environmental monitoring in northern Canada. In recognition of the outstanding quality and impact of his research, Andy’s thesis has been nominated for the Faculty Thesis Award. We congratulate Andy on this well-deserved achievement and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
