Gifty defends her PhD thesis!
ReSEC Research Group PhD student Gifty Attiah successfully defended her thesis on September 09, 2024, in a virtual defence. Gifty’s thesis is titled “Coupling Remote Sensing and Modelling to Monitor the Spatial Distribution and Trends of Surface Temperature and Ice Thickness on SubArctic Lakes”. Her research was supported by the NSERC Canada Research Chair grant, the Canada Excellent Research Chair-Global Water Futures (CERC-GWF) Remotely Sensed Monitoring of Northern Lake Ice project grant, and the Government of Northwest Territories, Environment Climate Change, the Cumulative Impact Monitoring Programme.
