ReSEC Member on CBC news talking about ice road monitoring

For many northern communities, ice roads are essential for accessing things like food and fuel. But climate change is causing them to be less reliable, and often unsafe. Homa discussed this issue with Laura lynch on “What on earth” program to on the ReSEC team research and work on using satellite data to track the surface temperature of the ice and creating a daily map of that ice thickness.
